   Please ensure the following points while using internet banking
  • Always access bank's internet banking web site by typing the URL (https://www.ucoebanking.com) in the address bar of the browser.
  • URL address on the address bar of your internet browser begins with "https". The letter 's' at the end of "https" means 'secured'.
  • Look for the padlock symbol either in the address bar or the status bar (mostly in the address bar) but not within the web page display area. Verify the   security certificate by clicking on the padlock.
  • Always check the last log-in date and time in the post login page.
  • Immediately change your passwords if you have accidentally revealed your credentials.
  • Please ensure that the PC/Mobile Phone/Smart Phone used for conducting Internet Banking transactions are regularly updated with antivirus/ Firewalls/ other secure applications software and up-to-date.
   Beware of Phishing attacks
  • Never click on any links in any e-mail to access the bank's site.Hover your mouse over the links in each message to display the actual URLs.
  • OR
  • Rest your mouse(don't click on link) to see if the address matches the link that was typed in the message.
  • Review credit card and bank account mini statements on regular basis to check for unauthorized charges.
  • OR
  • Routinely review your bank and credit card statements monthly for unexplained charges or inquiries that you do not initiate.
  • OR
  • Review your account statement in timely manner.
  • Change your passwords on periodic basis like in every three or four months.
  • Spear phishing thrives on familiarity on you(e.g. Email by mentioning your name),so don't tempt to open any attachments or links,images in the mail before making confirmation.
  • Dont use public Wi-Fi/computers to login to your account and always logout when you completed your transactions.
  • Never share personal/financial details to anyone(even to closed ones)through mails.
